Antonio Cabello

Antonio Cabello (Jaén, 1993), graduated in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from UC3M (Carlos III University of Madrid) and graduated in Photography Direction from EICTV (San Antonio de Baños International School of Film and TV) and Film Critic by the ECAM (School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Madrid). In the cinema, "Toda una vida" (2021) is the director's debut. It is a work shot entirely in Andalusia (Castil de Campos, Córdoba) and that addresses the relationship of young people with older people, promoting dialogue and imagination in any age group. For its realization, the filmmaker worked with prestigious figures in the film industry: José Vinader (winner of a Goya for "The other side of the bed"), Óscar Navarro (nominated for a Goya for "La mula") and Gabriel Molera (" Donkeyote "and" My Love. Six Stories of True Love "). His next work is "El mapa del tesoro" (2021), a fiction short film selected by the development program Rodando por Jaén and starring Vicente Vergara (nominated for a Goya for "La tinchera infinita") and debutante Luna Carrillo , grandfather and granddaughter in a story full of pain, but also of hope. Óscar Navarro returns to sign the soundtrack. This work has been selected in more than 20 festivals and has won the Best Short Film from Jaén in Rolling for Jaén and the Audience Award at the EnSerio Films festival in Colombia. In addition to his work as a director, he currently works as a scriptwriter in television programs such as "El Condensador de Fluzo" (TVE), "El cielo can wait" (Movistar +) or "Caos F.C." (Movistar +). He has also developed his professional career as an accredited journalist in international competitions such as the Cannes Festival and the San Sebastián Festival, appointments where he has interviewed Denis Villeneuve, Hirokazu Koreeda, Alfonso Cuarón or Manuel Martín Cuenca.
