Director's Statement
What is photography? Creating meaningful imagery? Presenting the world as it is? In this video, I position photographs as objects of viewing. By constantly disrupting the distances and balance between the viewer and the objects, I revert “artistic” photography to piles of photographs, without meaning, sensibility, or values, as something rushing toward the viewer from the other side. In so doing, I challenge the systems of imagery constructed with history.
